Frustrated by the lack of options for plastic-free hair care and horrified by the plastic waste washing up on Hong Kong's beaches, Kate Mercurio Mestre decided to create her own alternatives. Big Island Shampoo & Conditioner bars are created in her studio on Lantau Island and are packaged in paper. The bars are plastic free, vegan-friendly and scented with natural essential oils, and can be delivered anywhere in Hong Kong.
